In the Pipeline

Happy Sunday!

It’s been a bit since I lost blogged, so I’m here today to give you the lowdown on what’s going on with my writing πŸ™‚ I have plans, my lovelies. Plans!

First: The Blood Queen is now in the hands of an editor. I plan to release the novella January 7, 2020.

Second: I’ve submitted my YA (the protagonist is 19 πŸ™‚ ) to a publisher so keep your fingers crossed!

Third: I have some books whose rights are reverting back to me next year so I will be doing a quick round of edits to freshen the books up and then I’ll self-publish them. I don’t expect to make any major changes but if I do I will announce that when I have re-release dates.

Fourth: I have several books that are in the editing stages, and I am working hard to get those ready for either publisher or to self-publish. Lots of new stuff in the pipeline!

Lastly: I have a publishing plan for next year! Starting with The Blood Queen, I plan to release one book per quarter (new material). This does not include any short stories I may publish in between releases, and it also doesn’t include any re-releases. This is just for brand new works.

So, starting on January 7th, there should be a steady release schedule. I know this year has been slow, and I thank all of you who’ve enjoyed DARK SCORPIO! I can’t wait to share more new stories with next year and thank you so much for sticking with me ❀

Happy December

Hello, and happy first day of December πŸ™‚ I hope you’ve all been well. I apologize for the blog silence- I’ve had a lot going on, including surgery, and that put me behind on a few things. Just a few things for you all today:

First: the Isles and West series has a new logo! Thanks to the lovely Niki at Once Upon A Design for creating this lovely logo for me. Look forward to some giveaways, swag, and merchandise in the near future.

Speaking of the Isles and West series…

If you hurry you can still get GHOULTOWN on sale for $0.99!

Second: Sera’s book is still writing well. Because of my surgery, I didn’t write anything for about two weeks, but I’m now starting to dive back in. It’s in the last quarter phase, so I’m about to put her through the Hells…because of I am πŸ™‚

Third: I have a book recommendation for you. I’ve just finished Deadly Storm by Skye Knizley, which is the tenth book in the Storm Chronicles. I loved it, and suggest if you haven’t read the series to give it a try, and if you do read the series- go get this one right now! It was worth the long wait πŸ™‚

And that is pretty much it for right now πŸ™‚ I’m hoping to have news soon on one of the books I have on submission, and I’m hoping Sera’s book will be out by Spring 2018. Stay tuned!

Catch Up

My apologies for getting behind on my blogging! So, for a little Catch Up πŸ™‚

1: I’m about halfway through editing a book. I’m hoping to have it done by the end of this weekend- I have about 142 pages left to go.

2: I’ve got the first chapter written on a new paranormal mystery trilogy. This takes place in the Isles and West world, but in a different town with different characters. It’s also a bit lighter in tone than the Isles and West series, which I did on purpose. It’s more of a…dark cozy mystery πŸ™‚

3: I’ve also written the first chapter down of a dark paranormal novel that is also set in the I&W series but with a different set of characters. This is a single book, not part of series.

4: I’ve outlined several novels set in the I&W world, outside of Delilah and Milly. That world is lush, and filled with stories that bring you deeper into the Dark and Glory as well as different gifts and locations. I can’t wait to bring them all into the light for you to read!

5: I’m making good headway on the first Ghoultown novel! Different characters, different gifts–will be awesome!

6: I’m also a few chapters into a new series and new world. I don’t want to say too much on it right now, but I will tell you that it includes the classic monsters with a twist πŸ˜‰

7: I’m almost finished with a short story in the Slayer world. Different characters, but I love them all. This is an introduction to the full-length novel I’ve got planned for these characters.

That sounds like a lot of books at one time but it’s actually pretty tame for me LOL

I took a break from writing for about two months because of all the first half of the year releases, and it feels really great to be writing again, to feel that fire to bring new characters to life. I think the break really helped refresh my imagination and gave me a chance to recharge the creative batteries while I concentrated on promo and such.

So that’s what’s been going on with me πŸ™‚ Blogging should be back to normal from here on out!

Tuesday Tidbits

Not much to report from the long weekend. The FB party for Over the River went very well- thanks to everyone who stopped in! I did get about 4k written on one project, whichΒ is wonderful. Though I’d hoped for more, I’m pleased with what I got and hopefully I can keep up the momentum πŸ™‚

Other than that, I had a relaxing weekend and I hope you all had a safe and happy one as well.
