Ghoultown Cover and Blurb

Here it is–the cover of Ghoultown! Thanks bunches and much love to the awesome Jay Aheer, who designed it for me ❤

(coming January 23, 2016)

Boston is on its knees: one hundred sixteen infected, eighty-two dead. There is no sign that the attacks from the Dark will stop anytime soon.

In training with the FBI’s Reaper Team, Delilah Dalton and Milly Shores—two nineteen year olds with gifts to deal with the dead and the Dark—are caught up in the gruesome case. A case that will push their abilities to the limit.
If the team can’t stop the killing soon, South Boston will be nothing but a blood-drenched feeding ground for dark beasts.

Isles and West News

Hey All 🙂

I have Isles and West news! I’ve just signed a contract for the trilogy with Vamptasy Publishing, and the release dates are as follows:

Over the River (book one, re-release): May 20, 2016

The Duchess (book two): August 20, 2016

Aequitas (book three): December 16, 2016

So you’ll have all three books next year PLUS the re-release of Ghoultown (an Isles and West novella) on January 23, 2016!

I’m very excited, and can’t wait for you all to finally be able to read the rest of the series 😀 Stay tuned for updates!

Fantasy and the Writer

As some of you who’ve been following my Twitter account for awhile know, I’ve been slowly writing an epic fantasy novel over the last couple of years. This year I’ve managed to get up to about 10k…which is awesome because it was at 2.5k for a looooong time LOL  I have a strong suspicion that I’ll have to write a book bible first, with the main characters, the most important world events, and family trees before I can really dig into the world.

The first fantasy book I ever read was The Hobbit–I think I was around ten or eleven years old–and I still read it at least once a year. Then I found my mom’s Terry Brooks novels and started in on the Shannara series (I admit I’m terribly behind on those books now). Currently, I really love the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain (Karigan is an awesome heroine!).

I am on the look out for new/new-to-me fantasy authors, so if you have suggestions please let me know!

Speaking of the Shannara series, I’ve been keeping an eye on the progress of the television adaption of the Elfstones of Shannara. While I’m hesitant to get too excited because it’s MTV, I must admit it looks like a great show. Terry Brooks was very involved with the process so that gives me a bit more hope 🙂 I think the casting is well done, and I’m looking forward to the premiere on Jan. 5th.

Snippet for Eretria (I’m excited to see her character! I loved her in the book):

What are you favorite fantasy books? How do you feel about the Shannara tv series?
